Data Sources & Methodology
Spot prices are sourced from the Metals-API, which aggregates real-time data from major commodity exchanges including LBMA (London), COMEX (New York), and Asian markets. Exchange rates are refreshed alongside metal prices to ensure local currency conversions are always current.
Prices are updated automatically every hour via scheduled data jobs. The timestamp shown on every price page reflects the exact time of the last successful fetch. All karat prices (22K, 21K, 18K) are calculated from the 24K spot price using standard purity ratios.
